Crystal Gallery At Index 2015

		Crystal Gallery turns heads at Index 2015 - International Design Exhibition as it showcases a fine array of crystal masterpieces. Among the opulent spread is the sensational 3-meter Burj Khalifa that's crafted entirely out of crystal.

		Also grabbing eyeballs at the 4-day long event is a large frame showing off the colored portrait of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emir of Dubai & Prime Minister of the UAE. A spectacular 3D effigy of His Royal Highness in a massive cube is also on display.

		Other attractions include a large Zulfiqar sword embellished with crystals, a rotating top and base made out of crystal, and an intricately replicated Crystal Sextant.

The Consulate General of India, Dubai Ladies Club Visits Crystal Gallery

		On Saturday, 25th April 2015, 17 members of the Consulate General of India, Dubai Ladies Club visited the Crystal Gallery Company Head Quarters and Main Showroom. They were treated to an exciting factory tour where they witnessed different crystal items being crafted and were even introduced to the talented craftsman who demonstrated how a plethora of delicate cuts were etched into the crystal vases and bowls. Later on, the ladies had the opportunity to browse through the main showroom where many pristine products caught their eye.

		Deemed as a 'last-over thriller', the final match in the Challengers Cup Bronze Section @ ICC Academy was indeed a very close one with IM Galadari just managing a win. Crystal Gallery batted first and managed to score 43. However, things seemed to turn around as the Crystal Gallery boys gave it their all and nearly pulled off a miracle. The player of the match - Nabeel picked up 2 wickets in the final over which had Hasan of IM Galadari surviving the final 2 balls to ensure his team's victory. Indeed a close, exhilarating finish to this final match. Another reason for Crystal Gallery to cheer was its MVP Zafar who was awarded the Player of the Tournament in the Bronze section.


Crystal Gallery Post Impressive 91-Run Win

		Crystal Gallery has done it again. Its merry band of boys has once again proved their prowess on the cricket field by scoring an impressive 91 runs against Edgen Murray before restricting its opponents to a total of minus 16 in reply for a 107-run win. Drawn in Pool A of the Bronze section of the tournament, Crystal Gallery impressed in every respect, losing just two wickets during the course of its innings before taking 15 Edgen Murray in reply. Zafar was named the player of the match after the bowler secured the truly remarkable figures of six wickets for minus 24 runs.

Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge QF3 Winners Revealed

		The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge's third qualifying round took place at the Doha Golf Club, Qatar on 10th May, 2014. An impressive number of 62 teams participated in the event. The winners of the QF3 were Team Exon Mobil Qatar - Naynesh Desai and Douglas Grote with their score of 63. The second and third places went to Team Golfnuts - Tim Miller and Neil Flanigan - and Team Apollo Engineering 1 - Frank Harrigan and Alan Crozier, respectively. They scored 64 (countback) and 64 (net), individually. Team Exon Mobil Qatar, along with the GGA team and Team Sabre Travel Network - the winners of the first and second qualifying rounds, respectively is set to participate in the 36-hole 2-day grand final which is scheduled to take place in December 2014. This prestigious event will be held at the Tower Links and Al Hamra golf courses, with an overnight stay at the Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. With the first 3 qualifying rounds over and done with, golf enthusiasts can now look forward to the fourth qualifying round which will be held on 22nd May, 2014 at Yas Links, Abu Dhabi.


The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge First Qualifying Round A Success, Winners Announced.

		The first qualifying round of the 16th Edition Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge took place on April 3, 2014 at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. An amazing turnout of 96 golfers who were paired in 48 teams participated in the day's events. The triumphant winners with a score of 66 were Tom Luig & Carl Palmlund from team GGA. Furthermore, the winner of Hole 8's Crystal Gallery Nearest the Pin was also Tom Luig. The second qualifying round is scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Emirates Golf Club, Dubai, UAE. 		On 28th August 2012, a group of over 45 students from different schools in Dubai visited Crystal Gallery for an educational trip. Mashreq Bank tied up with Crystal Gallery in its initiative to promote Corporate Social Responsibility. The participants were educated with knowledge about LASER and one of its applications, the Sub-surface Laser Engraving, which is a process of engraving an image in a transparent solid material by focusing a laser below the surface to create small fractures, and is pioneered by Crystal Gallery in the Middle East since 2002, by demonstrating how a piece of crystal block is engraved with a 3D image in its sub-surface. The children are tomorrow's hope. By stimulating their minds with today's technology would help them become future leaders, businessmen, engineers, scientists, etc. who will run the world in future.

		Crystal Gallery headed by its chairman, Mr. Jafer Sura participated in Water Bucket Walk on 20th of November 2009 as part of Dubai Cares support to United Nations' Universal Children's Day. The walk will help children globally who do not have access to clean drinking water in schools.
